Welcome!

Hello, I’m Nicole!

I’m a mom to a (human) daughter & 3 rescue dogs, wife to an awesome girl dad and fellow animal lover. I’m also a pet business owner, and passionate advocate of pet adoption and dog rescue.

I whole-heartedly root for and support women petpreneurs. I believe in lifting each other up… together is always better!

Wildest Dreams

When I first started out with the dream of opening a pet care business, I never imagined I would one day own multi-faceted, highly successful, self-sustaining pet businesses… plural.

Pet businesses that would eventually create employment for so many, provide premium pet care services, and superior customer service. Pet businesses that would become incredibly valuable assets I could one day sell.

It was possible for me and it can be possible for you too!

I genuinely hope the experiences of my journey can help you on yours!

Bit of Background

Over the last 15 years, I’ve started, streamlined, scaled, and sold several successful pet businesses in California, for multiple six figures.

Among the pet care businesses I started, grew, and eventually sold include pet sitting & dog walking, daycare & boarding, grooming, and dog training businesses. Each was built on the combination of a love of animals, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a true passion to elevate the pet business industry by providing superior pet care services and customer experience.

These businesses were not built overnight. So much time, money, energy and love went into steady and responsible expansion. Building our team and being intentional about creating a positive staff environment was so important to our success.

I invested in my businesses so our staff members were happy, our clients trusted in us and the pets in our care thrived.

Building and running a pet business may have just started out with a love of animals but in order to sustain and grow a successful business, it required learning business savvy.  Something I didn’t always have and learned along the way. There were plenty of failures along the journey and I fell on my face both figuratively and literally… a few times.

I understand first-hand how difficult it can be to not only start a pet business but to take it to the next level, all while trying to find a work/life balance doing ALL. THE. THINGS. It can be stressful, messy, and overwhelming.

But it doesn’t have to be and I can show you how!

Welcome to my little corner of the internet. I hope you stay a while.
